Depending on your project you may
need to obtain one or more of the following licenses:
- mechanical license, which
grants the right to use the music on tangible media (such as CD or
DVD), subject to a
statutory fee
- master license, which grants
the right to reproduce master recording, negotiable
- synchronization license, which
applies for film, video or theatrical productions, negotiable.
