We live in the most mysterious time. The time, when the knowledge and rapid progress of our civilization makes us believe that we know everything, that we can do anything, that we are gods.
We believe that the Universe was born into existence out of nothing in a single event we call the Big Bang. We believe that homo sapiens is a result of natural evolution. We believe that the Earth is the only planet in the Solar System that harbors life. And we believe that gods do not exist. But do we really know?
In time when mankind can create life, construct artificial mountains half
a mile high, send probes to other planets we rely on scientific theories to ascertain our beliefs. And what we learn from these theories we presume to know and even take this 'knowledge' for granted. But we forget that our theories may be wrong and that the real knowledge comes experience and observation.
Science has been wrong many times before: only 100 years
ago it was deemed absolutely preposterous to claim that
rocks can fall from the skies. Now we call this
phenomenon meteorites. Unfortunately, science is much
more about grant money,
prestige and tenures these days than about finding the
truth. And we suffer from the dogmatization fallacy
(e.g. of Einstein's and Maxwell theories) just as much
as our ancestors who dogmatized Aristotle and Plato.
Science has been politicized and perverted to where much
of worthwhile research has been derailed suppressed.
Ever wondered to what happened to
cold fusion? Even though the cold fusion may not be
real (I must retain an open mind and for this
possibility) a special scientific committee recommended
to the U.S. congress to deny funding to cold fusion or
related research. Shouldn't they have rallied for
funding to find out what cold fusion is if they cared
about the truth? Especially since the technology
promised to revolutionize our lifestyle and finally move
the humanity off the fossil fuels... And when
sonofusion came around its discoverer - the poor
Taleyarkhan - was promptly stripped from his named
professorship on pretense of scientific misconduct.
In the same
time scientific underground is bubbling with activities
where genuine innovation is replete with misconception,
miscommunication, errors, overactive imagination, poor
science and outright fraud. Generally 'scientific
underground' is labeled as pseudoscience and outright
ignored if not officially opposed by the mainstream
science. Mark my words: despite all the fraud and
difficulties in sorting out facts from fiction
scientific underground will bear the next major
scientific and industrial revolution in the next 20
years.
Ruggero Santilli is already quietly pressing on with
commercialization of his hadronic mechanics, and
Jean-Louis
Naudin keeps building weird devices in his quest for
overunity. I too plough away through the murky waters of
brilliant ideas and total nonsense looking for something
that would stand up to a test of scientific scrutiny.
So, are we alone? Where do we come from and where are we going? How did life on Earth really begin? I do not presume to know answers to these questions, but I do know that there is a lot more to the world than we think. And the academia is too preoccupied with the issues of personal prestige, careers and financing to even admit that the theories that have been advanced for the past 100 years may not be entirely correct... I still feel a mixture of disdain and disbelief about the amount of subjectivism in science (which I have experienced firsthand). Emotions and personal interest aside, science is supposed to be objective! But do not take my word for it - read the Seeing Red book by Halton Arp (Max Planck Institute) for a very illuminating account of how (and why) modern science deals with observations that do not fit the accepted theories.
Life on Mars?
What I believe (based on years of research and personal experiences) is that there is in all probability life on Mars. Strong (yet inconclusive) evidence comes from fossilized bacteria found in Martian meteorite, unexpected correlation between water and methane found on Martian surface, and most persuasively from MGS images of apparent vegetation on the surface of Mars (see below).

'vegetation' on Mars, which is in fact 'spider' vents and defrosting spots. |
I am sorry to disappoint you but this
'vegetation' is not: these 'spiders' are sinks with
branching tributaries in the ground, this is clearly
seen on high resolution
HiRISE images. Thus much of what was reported by
Tom van Flandern as
evidence of artificial structures on Mars is
natural. There is some hope for the Cydonia region,
and of course the Face. But these too can be natural
structures. So I cannot say that there
is no life on Mars: there very well may be. We just
not have found it yet.
Intelligent Life On Mars?
The eternal question 'is there life on Mars?' is often paraphrased 'is
there intelligent life on Mars?' The truth is that we do
not know, but we cannot refute the possibility for sure. If you still think that the famous 'face' on Mars is just a rock - think again. Higher resolution images obtained with MGS satellite revealed such unexpected features as eyebrows and even nostrils. In fact a whole new 'crowned face' has been found (see images below). Why then we do not hear more often about these most unusual and certainly artificial structures on the surface of another planet? Simply because it is a policy of all major peer reviewed journals including Science and Nature not to publish anything that deals with intelligent life on mars in general and with the 'face' on Mars in particular. Just like that! For more details please read Tom van Flandern's account at MetaResearch. The truth is that the surface of the Red Planet is literally covered with fascinating
formations, but are they artificial? This remains to
be seen.

Olden Gods and the Origin of Mankind
If you think that the humanity knows its history you are mistaken. Accepted theories provide more questions than answers, and scholars are grappling with the origins and meaning of numerous legends, the most ancient of which are those written on clay tablets of Sumer (copied by Babylonians and Assyrians). What if ancient legends are not fiction but instead correspond to accurate depiction of historic events? This is precisely the opinion of renowned linguist and historian Zecharia Sitchin. Capable of reading cuneiform and majority of ancient scripts Sitchin analyzed and compared numerous ancient texts confirming the established opinion that all biblical and classical tales and myths originate in Sumerian texts. Even more fascinating is the fact that when translated literally and taken at face value Sumerian texts make more sense than in there interpretation as mere legends. The clay tablets refer to gods as 'those who came down from heaven to Earth' and are replete with astonishing details accompanied by revealing images concerning fiery chambers for celestial travel, descent and ascent vehicles as well as numerous scientific endeavors of the gods. Sitchin have meticulously documented and cross-referenced his findings in vividly detailed Earth Chronicles series; the first book of the series - The Twelfth Planet is a must read. The bottom line is that incomprehensible scientific knowledge of Sumerian civilization and mind boggling architectural installations around the world are far easier to understand when there existence is attributed to the those who came down from heaven to Earth'. According to ancient tablets gods engineered man by mixing the blood of prehistoric hominoid with there own blood (see images below). Mankind was born to bear the yoke of heavy labor, as a 'primitive worker' in a servitude to the gods. So read the Twelfth Planet and make your own judgment. To me one thing is certain: there is no way ancient civilizations could have figured out precession of the Earth axis (which period is 26,000 years!) and casually employed 100 and 200-ton precisely shaped megaliths for construction in the high peaks of Andes.

Sumerian clay tablets tell the story of creation of man using the clay of Earth and the blood of the gods who came down to Earth from heaven. The gods, who traveled heaven in celestial boats and descended to Earth in fiery chambers. | |

Sumerian symbol for medicine - two interweaved snakes - is all too similar to the double-helix of DNA, which our contemporary medicine is ought to use for its symbol. |
While Sitchin is clearly stretching credulity in
many of his interpretations overall he is on the
right track. An advanced civilization clearly
existed in the past, and left us a number of
precisely constructed (beyond
the capacity of modern technologies) and well
preserved artifacts such as the Pyramids, Tihuanaco
and many others. But who were they remains a
mystery. |
