Artist's Note

"EnTrance" is a bitter-sweet album. After hard-core clubbers to which I mistakenly marketed "Resurrection" criticized the wits out of me I embarked on a learning journey studying van Dyk's "Out There and Back" and other trance track. Chuck Browning, Cox Radio VP in Tulsa, too had a profound influence on my style and helped me to grasp the essence of "progressive" sound. Although I mastered it not the album proved an improvement over "Resurrection" as far as hard-core clubbing audience is concerned with some of the tracks gaining limited airplay. Now "EnTrance" sounds distinctively old: at the time I did not quite grasp the importance of sound design. Yet the ideas (particularly in employing strings sections) were good and a year later I remixed some of the "EnTrance" tracks and included then into my best selling Digital Bliss album.
